Mezzacorona lies at the foot of the majestic Italian Dolomites. Its vineyards with pergola trellising, characteristic of the region, run from Lake Garda to the foothills of the towering Dolomites. A fresh and wild breeze blows from the over 400 lakes and numerous glaciers of the surrounding mountains, peaking at over 9,000 feet. Thanks to a spectrum of microclimates, ranging from Mediterranean and Alpine, and profiting from over a century of winemaking experience, Mezzacorona planted varietals in the zones best tailored to the needs of each varietal, allowing them to flaunt the aromas and flavour of their terroir.

Rotari was born in the heart of the Dolomites. The mountain climate, the special care of the vineyards, the dedication of their winemakers in the manual selection and harvest of the grapes give life to the fresh and fragrant bubbles that are both complex and enjoyable reflections of the characteristics of the region. The Metodo Classico, its history, and its long aging process on its yeast bestow upon Rotari unique and unrepeatable characteristics.

"A sophisticated and subtle rosé sparkling with plenty of red-berry aroma, but also ripe peach. I love the juiciness of the fruit on the medium-bodied palate that doesn’t depend on dosage to shine. Very refreshing acidity, lively mousse and a delightful touch of salinity at the long finish. A blend of 75% pinot noir with 25% chardonnay. Drink now."

"Bright pink. Clean fresh and round aromas and flavors of fresh red berries and orange peel, lifted by a bright violet note. Closes long, easygoing and subtle. A blend of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay that spent 24 months on the lees. Disgorged in 2016."

“Rotari has an unbeatable track record for delivering solid quality at rock-bottom prices. The non-vintage Trento Metodo Classico Brut Rosé is an exceptional example of this promise. This lovely pink sparkler delivers a tight and steely style with wild berry backed by citrus, almond skin, wild herb and crushed mineral. Firm perlage gives the wine a perky and energized personality. The blend is 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Chardonnay, and the wine rests on the lees for two years.
Once again, Mezzocorona’s Cantina Rotari sparkling wine division delivers some of the most unthinkable value propositions found anywhere in Italy. Thanks to big production numbers (300,000 bottles for the Brut and 170,000 bottles for the Rosé), Rotari show great quality at very affordable prices. These metodo classico wines costs less than most commercial Proseccos and you get many times the depth of expression and complexity here.”

Top 100 Buys of 2013 "An outstanding value wine that hits all the right spots both on the nose and in the mouth, this rose sparkler would taste great on a hot summer afternoon. Light touches of peach, cranberry and pink grapefruit segue to creamy foam and warm touches of freshly baked bread."
