Pierre Henri Morel

Southern Rhone Valley, France

The winery takes it's name from a young winemaker native to the Rhône Valley, one who had a true passion for Southern Rhône wine, food and “art de vivre”. After 7 years working with Michel Chapoutier at his world acclaimed winery, he was proposed the exciting adventure of scouting for a new vineyard in Châteauneuf-du-Pape to create his own wines.

In 2008: Pierre-Henri found a fantastic terroir on the mythical Pignan” district in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and they purchased 4 hectares of single vineyards. This was the first stone of a range of wines truly representative of the southern Rhône - and more specifically, the expression of Grenache.

Since then Pierre Henri Morel has moved towards new horizons, however the estate in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the range of wines has remained the same, with an aim for outstanding value and purity in style, crafted with passion by the Chapoutier team.
